Apple made some big announcements at the WWDC keynote, and the biggest was the next-gen MacBook Pro and the all new iOS 6. This will be the biggest news for all this week as it always is with anything Apple announces. You can watch the whole keynote hereeeeeeeee. Siri now comes with a sense of humor.
15″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display
The new MacBook Pro certainly looks like a monster: Intel’s Ivy Bridge i7 quad core CPU, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GT 650M, 256GB flash storage (up to 768 GB), 2 thunderbolt port, 2 USB3.0, SD slot and HDMI port. Lets not forget Retina Display, 2880×1800 resolution at 220 pixels per inch on a 15″ for your eyegasm. With that resolution, your 50″ HDTV’s 1080p looks puny!
Oh yea just in case you’re wondering where is your optical drive, there’s none. Not even your LAN ethernet port survives, its all wireless baby. Welcome to 2012.
Available starts from today, if you have RM6799 or $2,199 USD to cough up. You can view the full spec from Apple. It’s difficult to get people excited about laptops, but Apple just did.
iOS 6
The other big news today was iOS 6, which is the expected to arrive together iPhone 5.
Whats the improvements? Your virtual girlfriend now talks sports, Facebook integration, new call reply feature, Facetime over 3G (finally!), new Maps (dropped Google Maps), itunes/apps store new look, and more. You can get the full coverage from Gizmodo or direct from Apple.
